Masala Twist Xpress Sachse: Authentic Indian Flavors with Warm Hospitality

food was AMAZING. we couldn’t stop eating! Mr. Shibu had amazing customer service and even offered us more food. He is so kind and has such a sweet smile. I will definitely be coming back more often.

This is the younger sister of Masala Twist in Richardson. Much smaller but very cute. Sabu/Shibu team brings a different angel of serving food in this cozy setting. Utensils are biodegradable and plant based. The kitchen is open for all to see. Very hygienically set. It’s a small place and hence be cognizant of seating limitations for larger parties. If you are looking for takeout, there’s nothing to worry. For sit down services, order at the counter, pay, get your buzzer and wait for your turn. Some items, the servers will bring to you and some you will go to pick up. Either way, the serving is pretty efficient; the portions are good; and the pricing very reasonable. We liked the items we ordered. The beef varuval with Porotta was excellent. Impressed.

Masala Twist Express is a surprisingly adorable restaurant nestled off Miles Rd near Sachse HS. The atmosphere, staff and amazing freshly prepared dishes will have you returning over and over. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the beautiful wood tones and warm decor set the mood for a delicious experience. The menu and dishes were explained and we ordered a variety to sample the different flavors. The food! It's oh my goodness good! Every bite is a delight! First, the soft drinks are made with pure cane sugar, and the tea is very good. We tried the samosa appetizer, tasty and good with mint and a sweet dipping sauces. My husband got a Create your own Bowl with rice and chicken vindaloo sauce. He liked it but was jealous of my tikka masala lol. I got the chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken with butter naan bread. Let me praise the tandoori chicken, it is so good with a complex mix of spices that made me go "Oh!" It was so yummy. I'll be popping in to buy that often! The chicken tikka masala is roll your eyes amazing. I could have that every day for a month and not get bored. Naan bread is perfect to lick the bowl clean. We enjoyed the fries, but with all the other dishes they were a little neglected. They are fresh and very good. I'll end by saying this was a 5 star experience. The food 100%, the staff so friendly and attentive 100% and the warm, intimate atmosphere is a nice change from bright, loud and fast foody. Hurry over soon Sachse and surrounding areas! We want this place to be here a long time.

The atmosphere was great, lots of seating. The chicken 65 was delicious, crispy and flavorful. They were so nice they let me try the sauces for the bowl before I landed on the Vindaloo sauce which was excellent.

The chicken butter masala here is a must-try! It's incredibly smooth and has the perfect amount of spice, and it's absolutely delicious with the garlic naan and parotta. The chicken 65 also had a great kick and was full of flavor. With a clean and family-friendly atmosphere, this place is perfect for a great meal with loved ones.

Me and my sister came to eat here and we will no doubt come back to eat again. Mr. Shibu not only doubled our servings for free, but also gave us mango lassis to try, and they taste incredible. I rarely ever write google reviews, but Masala Twist had me about to eat my fingers. 10000/10

We had a great experience here! There was plenty of seating available, and the decor was stylish and inviting. We enjoyed everything we ordered especially the butter chicken, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. I tried the baked potato chicken tikka, which was a unique twist and surprisingly delicious. The fried fish, recommended by the staff, was another standout (wish we had remembered to snap a photo before digging in!). The kids absolutely loved the mango lassi—it was the perfect treat. Friendly service and a solid menu; we’ll definitely be back!

We worked with Sabu for our rehearsal dinner and for the appetizer catering at our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our guests raved about the appetizers, and everything arrived fresh, on time, and exactly as discussed. The service team was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.
